Information We DO NOT Collect

Scrambordle does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to our servers. We do not:

• Collect your name, email address, or contact information
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or other personal data
• Store any data on external servers
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Share your data with third parties

Local Data Storage

All game data is stored locally on your device, including:

• Game statistics (puzzles solved, streaks, scores)
• Your puzzle progress and game states
• Settings and preferences

Game data is stored in a local Room database. Settings and preferences are stored using Android's DataStore. Neither is accessible to us or any third party.

Analytics

Scrambordle does not use any analytics services. We do not track how you use the app, which features you access, or how long you play.

Permissions

Scrambordle requests the following permission:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — Optional. Used only to send daily puzzle reminder notifications at a time you choose. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings.

No other permissions are requested or required.

Children's Privacy

Scrambordle does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or anyone else. The app is designed to be used without creating an account or providing any personal information.

Data Security

Since all game data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate any servers:

• Your data security is managed by your device's operating system
• We recommend using device lock screens and keeping your Android OS updated for optimal security

Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

• Delete Local Data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
• Disable Notifications: Turn off notifications for Scrambordle in Android Settings → Apps → Scrambordle → Notifications

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Retention

Your local game data persists until you uninstall the app.

International Users

Scrambordle is available worldwide. Your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
